Squix is real. She's a rescue squirrel with neurological disabilities that prevent her from standing or walking on her own. From the very beginning, every small task — holding her food, drinking water — had to be learned step by step, with patience, love, and determination.
Watching Squix work so hard to do the things most of us take for granted is nothing short of extraordinary. Her resilience, her spirit, and her will to keep going inspired a story that we knew the world needed to hear.
